Purpose & Core Values

Mission and Strategy

Our mission is to transform lives by the power of the cross one life at a time. We want to create environments where you are encouraged and equipped to take steps towards a transformed relationship:with God, with yourself, and with others.

Core Values: The values that form the foundation on which we carry out our mission and vision

Biblical Authority - God’s word is final authority and doctrinal purity is strived for

Personal Relationship with God – Our priorities will be purposed to encourage people into a personal walk with God as they personally understand Him

Intentional Environments - Elements within environments will be designed to connect and strategically direct target audiences. (Foyer, Living Room, Kitchen) Our responsibility is to create environments. God’s responsibility is to transform lives.

  • Types of Crosspointe Environments:
  • Foyer: Foyer environments are designed for guests. Our goal for foyer environments is that people would experience unconditional love and acceptance and want to return. Our primary foyer environment is the weekend worship service.
  • Living Room: Living room environments are for people to meet friends. The goal for living room type environments is that people would connect with others at Crosspointe. Our primary living room environments are strategic service teams.
  • Kitchen: Kitchen environments are where people become family. In kitchen environments we want people to know they are loved, accepted, and part of the Crosspointe family. Our primary kitchen environments are Starting Point and Small Groups.
  • Evangelism - God’s message of unconditional forgiveness through Christ is a message for the world. Prayer, personal relationships, strategic environments, and missions are the most effective ways we can convey this message to the world.

  • Invest & Invite in your circle – Jesus doesn't want the church to be an exclusive club. He wants everyone to know him and follow him. So we think it's vital that as we become fully engaged in church, we invest in unchurched or dechurched people’s lives. That doesn't mean that we treat them as projects. It means that we genuinely care about them, get to know what's happening in their lives, and, when the time is right, invite them to take an appropriate next step toward Jesus.
  • Invest & Invite outside your circle – Invest your resources to bring the Gospel message to the world, and accept His invitation to participate in strategic world missions.
  • Intentional Mentorship – Every church member has a responsibility to make disciples. This is best accomplished through environments of accountability. Small Groups || One to One Mentoring || Marital & Parental Counseling || Single & Divorced Groups

Strategic Service - One's spiritual gifts have maximum impact when they are in support of their local congregation’s strategy. This is accomplished when individuals volunteer to invest their time, talents, and resources in the created environments within the church.
